VRrF2LN 2024 | information about the season
Welcome to VRrF2LN 2024!
The Virtual Racing rFactor2 Endurance Championship Nürburgring (VRrF2LN) is entering its seventh season in 2024 and will be starting for the fourth time under the umbrella of Virtual Racing e. V..
From an administrative perspective, this year the motto is: consistency and improvement, rather than major innovations.
As before, participants can expect 6 vehicle classes and 8 races; seven times 4 hours and once 6 hours of racing on the Nordschleife.
The vehicles and the vehicle selection also remain largely constant. Only the historic H4 class was replaced with historic touring cars from the early 1990s. The Clio (formerly class H2) now appears - visually - in a modern look. In the SP10 GT4 class, the BOP was revised and thus significantly improved. The Porsche 992 GT3 Cup now has a chassis tailored to the Nordschleife. Last but not least, the GT3 standard BOP was introduced, which will be found in the VRLSM, VRGTM, VRES and VRrF2LN series in 2024 (although with a few Nordschleife-specific adjustments).
The rules have also remained constant. Only clarifications and small corrections to legacy issues were necessary.
The opening race of the VRrF2LN on March 16, 2024 will be held two weeks after the VRES 24-hour race on the Nordschleife. The vehicle selection for the 2024 VRrF2LN and the VRES Nordschleife race is identical. In preparation, both series will share the training servers and races in a 24-hour layout from early January.

the event
A championship race including qualification takes place on one day.
On Saturday, qualification begins at 11:00 a.m. and the race begins at 12:00 p.m. with a manual formation lap on the Nordschleife. Each team has the option of splitting the race time with several drivers or one driver takes on the challenge alone.

Subscription takes place in the forum.
The VRrF2LN consists of a grid with a maximum of 50 vehicles. The grid is divided into 6 classes with 15 starting places each. The first 15 season registrations per class will receive regular team places (ST), provided that the maximum number of possible teams (50) has not yet been reached. All further season registrations are initially replacement team places (ET). Replacement teams might take free starting places in a race.
Requirements for starting authorization (please note the different deadlines!):
• A valid subscription for the current season must be submitted.
• A valid subscription for the current race must be submitted.
• A skin accepted by the admins must be submitted.
• The half-yearly VR fee must be paid for the registered team by the named team leader. This must be the VR half-yearly fee for the current half-year at the time of season registration. Of course, the annual fee for the current calendar year also counts.
== > For large teams with subteams, the same person mustn't be the “team leader” in several subteams, i.e. each registered vehicle requires a different team leader (contributor).

Starting number #1 is reserved for the VRrF2LN overall winner of the previous season (Die3Lustigen4).

Please note the following rules for new skins.
• Submitted skins will be checked accordingly by the series management before approval.
• Please submit skins by March 10, 2024 - 11:59 p.m. at the latest. After that, skins submitted late or revised can only be accepted for the first race in exceptional cases.
race commission
There is a race commission (After-Race ReKo), consisting of three members, which take care of any protests.
