    new version: VRT1030-v12-VK_E-kart.rfmod - v.1.2
    http://www.virtualkarting.altervista.org/

    N.B. first uninstall the version 1.0. This new version has tires with ttool generated by a real profile and the server activated.

    P.S. to install, copy this file in the dir \rFactor2\Packages - enter in rFactor2 Launcher - Manage Mods - select Virtual Karting E-KART 1.2, with the right mouse button, install

    I think you grabbed the wrong file, make sure your on the page that states rFactor 2 at the top.
    Not speaking Italian, I made the same mistake the first time I went there.

    Here's my mistake, I tried to install ver. 1.2 after uninstalling ver. 1.0. and here is what I keep getting;

    Mod "Virtual Karting E-KART 1.2" failed to verify, removed from inventory.

    Was there a reason you didn't consider making 1.2 an update instead of a re-install scenario?

    I have tried in the Packages folder, I have tried it from the mods folder. it just will not go.

    Has anyone else uninstalled the 1.0 then put 1.2 file in the packages folder and got it to install??

    1.2 is a .rfmod file

    @Jim,
    Open your rFactor2 Data folder
    Go to the folder MANIFESTS
    There is probably a file there relating to version 1.0, something like Virtual Kartin E-Kaert 1.0.mft. Delete that file (Delete all Virtual e-kart files there).
    Now go to the INSTALLED folder. Look under vehicles. If the E-Kart folder still exists, delete it.
    Go back to the INSTALLED folder, and enter the RFM folder.
    Look for the Virtual E-Kart.rfm file, and delete that one as well.

    Now place the 1.2 version in your packages folder, and start the mod manager
    Install the mod.

    That should work. Let me know if it doesnt :)

    In terms of the mod itself.

    Did anyone else have issues with the throttle? I use a G25, with H shifter in H mode. As soon as I touch my flappy pedals, the throttle goes dead. I have to quit the session to resolve that. Anyone else had that?

    Thanks Marco for advice. Of course the uninstall you suggested worked like a charm. I been installing and uninstalling mods in rF1 for years, lol, I never thought to look for rfm's or anything else in folders in rF2-- seems to show the difference between the two versions.

    Sometimes I have a problem with throttle (not all the time). I turn the ignition off and on and eventually it takes off.

    I have not installed yet but am going to... I race Karts, not these situps though, I race Laydown Enduro's on BIG circuits..
    I have always dreamed of a 4 wheel drive electric Kart.. It would be so stunning.. Tech is about there, and well maybe I'll do it someday.... Thanks for the MOD!

    Finally! Perfect car for Monaco! :D Joking of course. Nice job!

    Based on the video alone, it seems to run very fast than the bigger cars. Perhaps this is the effect of no cockpit at all and smaller tires?

    Good idea about Monaco.
    Certainly makes a better kart track than Snetterton.

    It's extremely fast and there is no way you are going to grow moss on your wheels in a turn.

    The fastest kart I have been on ran about 30 MPH(kiddie kart). This one, I have no reference for. About the only time I have spun it out is when I don't keep the power down on turns. FFB is good, I take it out from time to time for grins.

    Kart track severely needed.

    This instantly made me desire Gixerkart and those extreme hill climb karts on youtube videos and some hillclimb/sprint tracks x)

    And Rossi it would be nice if your website would also be in english ;)

    Is the Monsterkart for rF1 or rF2?
