Hello! I have try everything possible to make it work but it's doen't! I don't manage to paint vertex...
I try with or without vertexpaint modifier but nothing work...

    I try manything:

    - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-K2KHYOpSQ&index=3&list=PLILrJVYKVzKhzO6InWtrifgOD2TU4LcKA
    - http://isiforums.net/f/archive/index.php/t-3156.html
    - http://isiforums.net/f/archive/index.php/t-6945.html

    and a lot more...

I show you how i do:

1 - create an edtable poly, add a gmotormaterial (copy from isi), select vertex:

    2 - Turn the Alpha from 100 to 0:

3 - Nothing change in the viewport and nothing change in the render window:

    4 - Check the alpha:

5 - Try in viewer (or in game, same result):

Here is my material: (something wrong?)

    http://s25.postimg.org/djy7h6mpr/Capture_010.jpg
    http://s25.postimg.org/rccmctdhb/Capture_011.jpg

I try it with "vertexpaint" modifier, it's the same in 3ds max and in the viewer or in game it's like that:

If you want to check, here is th 3ds max file:

Nothing will change in Max's viewport, nor in the render--at least not in the same way that it looks in-game. What you're doing is setting something that will only appear in the game engine using the shaders that ISI created. What you did in the next step is the only way in Max to tell what you're setting your values to.

Yup, this is how it's supposed to look when you tell it to view the vertex alpha.

Yup, again, this looks ok. You have your main texture, and it's blending to the other texture at the vertices that you set the alpha to 0.

Looks like you painted the color, not the alpha. Make sure you choose Vertex Alpha in the Channel section of the Parameters rollout of the Vertex Paint modifier.

Other than that last bit, it looks like you're doing everything right up to that point.
