Tracks are done by different people and many people are working on tracks at the moment, some have posted in these forums the tracks and progress.. It's a matter of waiting. As for the cars. I know FPR were working on an rF2 version, but can't advise on how far away it will be for release.
I have seen a server with the Supercars but is private for some reason. Hope they aren't waiting for rF2 to go "GOLD" cause I believe it is there if I remember right. rF2 will continually be updated like rF1 was so..... The Supercars is one of my favourite series to run. One can only hope someone will put them out.
Just went to the ORSM forum over at race department, seems like they won't be doing anything for rf2 anytime soon.
^^ Never i heard that split up as a modding team. Very sad to see such a great mod go to waste when so many ppl loved it. I bet some1 has got it for personal use somewhere if so PM A LINK.....
No one wanted to do V8 Supercar in F1C except ORSM. If we had let them do it alone without pinching their series ie: like we let VLM or German mod team or others do theirs unimpeded we would have proper V8s !!! omg lol
I think at the time people were modding for F1C or Nascar 2003. Pretty sure there was a V8 Supercar mod under development for that game until Papyrus went bust and the iRacing guys took over the software and closed down modding for Nascar 2003 (well that is what I read on the interwebs ....... you know how accurate and up to the minute that can be )
iRacing used to be called F1rst and they were pretty nasty with regards to NR 2003 modding. The best case has to do with Redline's GTP mod. It was honestly surprising to see after so much backlash and "never give them my support" claims that iRacing still got so many people subscribing (and yes, many have quit but doesn't change the facts they were hypocrites).
hahahaha I knew someone would pick me up on it.. I was never a real fan of the FVR work, hence why I got it wrong.. It is a shame ORSM or not looking to bring across their mod. I'm sure things may change down the track, or maybe some permissions for a decent modding group to use their MAX files and affectively take it over.
cant say i'm not a fan of FVR just never raced them hard as i went with the group who is racing ORSM .. whoever does it I'll ring its neck of :0
I highly doubt that is going to happen unfortunately, I'm waiting to see what Flash is going to produce .
Just get me the ORSM models i will make enough changes to them so they are not identical....have OWN physics and tires already.... just a few changes to models and all good i reckon what you think. WOULD THIS BE SEEN LEGAL??????????????
