URD skinning help

    Hey guys. I need some help for my united racing design darche skin. First thing is, i changed my windshield banner with a text and black background. I want to have the black banner a little bit seethru from cockpit view. Is this possible? And second thing. The whole car is matte and I want to have it a little bit polished. Do I need to change something in the alpha channel?

    Windscreen transparency is controlled with the alpha channel. Black is seethru, white is solid, grey is semi seethru

    Car reflections are controlled with the alpha channel. Usually the alpha channel is baked with the AO map in a 3D modeling program.
    This ahpla channel bake should be available in the template already: you can fine tune it if you want. Full white alpha is full reflections, Black is mat.

    Save textures with alpha channels as DDS files as DXT5.
