Just got back from a vacation and my online subscription expired, I wasn't planning on renewing, but build 770 came out while I was gone. Now the update tab is the launcher is greyed out, can I just download the new build from the site or do I have to throw down $85 so I can keep getting new builds?
You have a choice , 1 Don't pay any subscription and update manually by downloading the latest 'Lite' build and installing over previous build . 2 Pay subscription for 1 year , about $13 and use auto update for a year . 3 Pay the rough difference of your initial purchase to the 'life time' of about $50 and auto update till your hearts content .
Simple question: why does a user here have to answer this question? Wouldn't we expect the game itself to present these obvious and crucial options and then make whichever one you choose a simple online affair to execute?
Give it up already. How many times do you have to let everybody know you don't like this policy? Probably best for your own health to move onto something else if this upsets you that much.
