So, I added a changelog. Thank goodness I can program, it would have been very very tedious had I not known how.

Also, I added the Cobra. Woo!

 

Just an update... For those of you who don't know yet, Tim announced the Eagle Mk1.

 

Gunna have to add the GT500 GTR and Mores at some point now XD


Also, is this technically covered in what is in the list currently?

Original Question: "you may know that racedepartment hosted its last rfactor le mans 24 hour race with the strong view of moving to rfactor 2. i will definitely be taking part. just wondered, without sounding greedy or ungrateful, will there be any prototype cars being released? and lmp1 car would be the ultimate. i know some modders are trying to work something but surely ISI's would be better?;-)

Are they talking about the Panoz, or is this the ultimate modern car and track combo? Ideas?

 

Sports prototypes, of any kind but ideally LMPs, are so badly needed.

 

Would be very nice. Some 3rd party mods on the go but an isi group c or lmp1 car would be great

In the Pictures thread and on the rF2 facebook, yep. No proper thread, maybe coz it is still so much a WIP.

 

There was a mentioning of it in the 'rF2 Screenshots' thread, and some conversation sparkled by the image posted.

I dont know is kotakota still actively keeping this thread updated, but if he is... this puppy should have been stickied long time ago.

 

Oh, thanks, i have Facebook but never check RF2 from there, i dont know why, dont get used to it maybe.

 

I'll start updating it again; I hadn't updated it in a while because the thread had gotten so far down in the forums that I assumed no one would look at it again.

Thanks for the updates guys, I hadn't seen the SuperGT post yet, and this totally made my day!! SuperGT is my favorite race series, so I'm super pumped!! Now if only they release Suzuka Circuit.... XD

I just hope its not going to be the gtr we already have with this new body kit... It would be great to get new sounds and a different feeling of driving and physics.

 

Those things are very heavily modified, so I can bet you it will be a completely different beast. Im not up to spec.on the rules for the JGTC or whatever, but I would think it would be using the V6 too.

EDIT: Nope, will be a V8 XD
Shows you how out of touch I am with that jap series. Maybe I just miss the Supra's and NSX's lol

I still wonder about that Ultimate modern car and track combo. Audi have been pretty successful at Le Mans...well amazingly successful...and if I take their confirmation to mean one of the LMP1 cars...well...hmmm

 

It seemed a little ambiguous to me... Since LMP1 is a type of prototype car, I figured it would be safer to just put down "Prototype Car" until further confirmation was made

 

Oh yeah, I'm just doing a bit of fun speculating, can't put that down in your list.
Anyone else have some thoughts as to what it could be?
