    How accurate (as in not outdated) are the specs at http://carstat.net/ for the 370z?

    I am especially interested in optimal oil and tire temps as well as safe engine rpm.

    I'm asking because carstat.net shows a fuel tank capacity of 96l where as rF2 shows 100l.

    @Tim/Staff: Would be great if car specs could be included on your website's download section!

    carstat site refers to 370z v1.1 and not to the most recent v1.43

    it is not too easy and also not too hard but you can find those info by yourself using mas2 tool under your rf2 support folder

    I think it would be great if ISI included this info on the car selection section in game, optimum tyre/brake temps etc is pretty crucial info to have.

    Im no expert but...

    Find MAS2.exe at your rFactor2\Support\Tools

    Locate and open the *_car.mas at rFactor2\Installed\Vehicles\370z_car\1.43\370z_car.mas

    Right click to Extract file 370Z_ENGINE.INI to anywhere you want

    Open file 370Z_ENGINE.INI with your preferred TextEditor and you will see:

    // Nissan VQ37VHR 60° V6 DOHC Aluminimum Block
    // 3,696cc, 95.5mm bore, 86mm stroke
    // Compression Ratio: ~12:1
    ...
    RevLimitRange=(7350, 50, 4) <== (Base rpm, Step rpm, number of steps)
    RevLimitSetting=3 <== Selected step @ garage 7500 rpm or 7350+(3*50)
    ...
    OptimumOilTemp=100 <== °C
    ...
    LifetimeEngineRPM=(6785,283) <== (Lifetime rpm, Rising rpm where/above Lifetime is halved) or 6785+283=7068°C
    LifetimeOilTemp=(110.0,4.2) <== (LifetimeOilTemp, RisingOilTemp where/above Lifetime is halved) or 110.0+4.2=114.2°C
    LifetimeAvg=54000 <== Average Lifetime in seconds
    LifetimeVar=18000 <== Randomized Lifetime Variance in seconds, so Lifetime may vary between 36000 to 72000 seconds (10 to 20 hours)
    ...

    Play with the *.hdv file as well with *.tbc and *.tgm files

    Totally forgot about this :D

    @newtonpg Thanks for the instructions - it's quite easy, but only if you know what to do and where to look - helped me a lot!

    Can't open the website for some reason - only in Google cache

    This is the new-final link. The old one was for beta testing, this one is the final stage.

    Deadpedal,

    Some vehicles physics files are encripted in rF2. That's the case of the Civic BTCC Honda.

    Anyway, this car is very responsive to the garage setup options and we'll have to learn by trial and error.
