Hi there, I recently updated rFactor 2 to the steam version, and when trying to connect to an online server via the new launcher It briefly says 'Downloading xxx.xx' then the progress bar fills to 100% with a message saying "unknown error" with no further information, and doesn't connect. Tried with a few servers in my server list, and all offered up the same unhelpful message. Any ideas what is going on? Thank you.
Okay, solved it on my own. I have my packages stored on a NAS on the network, and the share is mapped to a network drive which I open directly in rF. Apparently if that drive is selected it packs a sad and won't download anything (Despite my sim having read and write access to the network share.) Hope this helps others!
