Hello, I tried to make a new skin for Radical SR3-RSX, but isn't working it. I checked this function in other mods, and its not working... Whats happened? ps.: 1. Create skin in Photoshop, save to dds 2. Create dir in rFactor 2 3. Place the new skin to the new car's folder (alt.dds) 4. The 'variants' in tuning place isn't working
I just tested, went into the Radical tuning section, clicked CREATE DIR, came out of rF2 and it had put a alt.dds file in there. I renamed it to 17alt.dds, I then copied it and called the new one 18alt.dds. Back into the game, and I can select 17ALT and 18ALT in the variant section. Check if you can do the same. If you can, and replacing one of those with your own doesn't work, perhaps your DDS is the wrong format?
Until now i tested and only found Isi mods (spark, corvette, Fisi 2012) working like in the past, plus historic community pack and gp3 2016/17. But i have to say i´m using a wrong template for these mods (two skins made for historics and Lola by forum members to me that i often use in other mods. Sometimes is beautiful). I think may there is some kind of protection to wrong templates now like this (i like)
