Unable to join competitions ?

A very annoying problem

I can join practice and take part
When it comes to register for a race i get a basic error and am unable to to continue

I have tried changing the antivirus software to allow network traffic

Any suggestions ?

 

Are you backing out of the practice server and joining the actual race server before the race starts?

 

No, is that necessary ?

It used to work on older versions iirc
