Folks - I have a windows server in our server network at work. No firewall (windows firewall only with rFactor 2 dedicated executable properly allowed). At least one user (Mike_P) can connect to the server no problem. Others cannot. Including myself from home. I CAN connect to the server with Remote Desktop to monitor things and such from my house so there is no routing problem.

It should be noted that I can connect to other servers. Some servers I cannot connect to. Even ones that have others playing so I know they are working.

linked (couldn't attach to post) are wireshark captures showing the only two rFactor 2 packets that are transfered one to the server, one back to the client. I believe this to be a bug and would be happy to report in the bug reporting section if you agree that it is a bug.

    Wireshark available at: www.wireshark.org

    anybody know anything to try?

It should be noted that I got the packet capture from the server side by remote desktopping to the server from the actual client machine - so routing is most certainly fine :)
