So I have been so many issues with rfactor2 all of a sudden after downloading the latest update. So I decided to uninstall rfactor2 completely from my computer. That's fine. I am now trying to install the rfactor2 demo (later purchase as I have already purchased the lifetime version) but it won't let me. It comes up with this error message: http://gyazo.com/b94e169f9f57a1c133c651335376844e It feels things are going from bad to worse, and so far completely regret downloading the latest update. Everything was working fine before that, now there are problems after problems.
That is generally down to a permissions issue. Have you tried launching the installer with admin rights?
While that should work, you can also try installing outside of program files. Mine for example is in c:\games\rFactor2 Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
