Hi If I want to do two races, second one with inverted grid and I want different weather, Is there any way to do that? Or the only way is changing .wet file and reset the server? Could I have two .wet files and set one for race1 and the other one for race2? Thanks
I haven't checked build 342 out in more depth, but the .wet files are the same as previous builds and they didn't allow for anything except Practice -> Qualifying -> Race. Ages ago I put a thread in the wish list section asking for the ability to set the weather for every single session (13 in total) because it causes some real continuity and flexibility problems - not the least of which is the warmup weather.
I assume you mean online? You can alter the grid and set a different saved file after relaunching the server. AFAIK that's the only way you could do it.
We´ve been having a Clio Series with 2 legs (15min+25min). And thats a real problem. Warmup having race weather also makes no sense and should be something to look by developers.
I actually commissioned my bonuskid to program a wet-file Maker for my leagu that can build a practice Only wet file, and then based on that produces a credible (slower changing) progressing weather for quali and race. You can then build Another race file based on the previous, so can get a naturally progressing race weekend, no matter the number of races. I would love getting a prognosis as well, but a disk crash made the dev.files disappear, so the program is as-is.
What are you talking about ? Offfline, Online, Making a mod ? What is the purpose, may help. I am not even sure if you mean the same track twice or 2 different tracks. By definition 2 races are 2 different sessions. Click Restart Weekend or Restart Race is your only options as far as I am aware.
A session as a WTCC race: Qualy Warmup 1 Race 1 Warmup 2 Race 2 with first 8 grid position of Race 1 final result reversed and other ones of the grid as Race 1 final result. Is already possible? Thanks
Yes easily run one session then another ? The room would have to reload anyways...to change sessions ? If you are talking about combined results ? No
