Ts-pc I’m done with rfactor2

After 3 years I decided to return to rfactor2 and sadly it remembered me how rfactor2 isn’t user friendly at all.
I’m trying from yesterday to make my ts-pc working with rfactor2, but nothing. With AC you just jump in it and it works perfectly.
What’s wrong with it? Any help please?

 

I have tx racing and never a problem.
You only must push "detect" assign what you want and save your profile.
If your peddals are fanatec for example you must assign them manualy.
That is all

 

I tried everything. I disconnected the usb cable and and I even disabled the VR, because I thought it could be VR bug o something related to it. The strange thing that all the buttons works perfectly and the sequential pedals of the wheel all are working and recognized from the game, but the wheel it self doesn’t work at all.

 

Can I have a refund from steam? I’m giving up and I’m returning to AC.

 

If you match the Steam refund criteria then yes. Bought within a certain time frame (can't recall but several days I think) and played less than 2 hours.

 

I guessing you already know the answer about a refund , did you ask technical support for help ?

 

Lol... I see 6h in my account and I didn’t even do a single lap. That’s all time I tried to make the wheel work.
However I send the refund request and I explained to them that these 6h were all to make the steering wheel work and I didn’t play a single second the game.
I’m disappointed because I wanted to play rfactor2 so badly, but I don’t have that much time to lose with all these issues.

 

This works for me when I’m having wheel assignment issues .
Open file location go to user and then controls delete all the controls then in game re-assign your wheel controls .

Also your wheel should work with rf2 without issue.
A fresh install , maybe

It’s a fresh install. I did it yesterday and in my pc I have only AC,Pcars2 and rfactor2. I deleted all the controller from the controller file, but it didn’t work. My HE pro pedals works perfectly, my Sequential shifter works perfectly even all the buttons on the wheel are recognized from the game and I even feel the ffb in the wheel when it’s in the garage, but it doesn’t respond and doesn’t turn left or right. The strange thing is when I press the “ detect” icone it gives me this ( see file) so the steering wheel is detected and loaded correctly. I really don’t know what to do. I hope steam refund me, because I don’t like to throw my money like that.

 

Lol steam just refused to refund me. I didn’t play even a single sec....are you serious?!

 

Double check you dont have any steering driving aid set. In difficulty settings i think. Long shot but just in case.

 

Odd question but since i didn't read nothing about here, did you assigned stering left/right in the controls menu?

 

I checked in the web and some one advice to unplug all the other controllers like pedals and shifter, buttons box... I tried it and it doesn’t work. I switched USB port and nothing.
Rfactor2 recognizes my ts-ps ad JOY2 X- and JOY2 X+

I thought the same thing. I don't remeber if that needs to be done with consumer wheels, but that might explain the problem.

 

I have used my TS-PC without any issues but I have it not connected now (switch to an OSW), attaching my json I was using.
Save it in your ..\rFactor 2\UserData\Controller folder and you should be able to import/load it
Maybe it helps

 

I do it everytime i try a new sim, just to be sure.

It seems to work. I did some lap with the Civic( my favorite car in rfactor2) and at least I did 4-5 laps, but I need some work in it. Thanks

 

Out of curiosity, which axis do you have now in steer left/right?
