Hi, After install the Build 125 i have a Transparency Effect on the Tracks. The effect is at the top, it looks like watching a visor (can not explain better (like morning dew (do you say it so in english )?.
Yup I'm seeing this on most tracks . The trees at Lime rock look fantastic ! as stated they did some work on leaves and such so i figure as they are getting into stride as far as the gpx goes the new stuff will shine while the older stuff will then need attention.. my guess is one of these made the older stuff now look the way it does. from release notes: Fixed a bug with generating bboxs for procedural meshes, which was causing problems with shadows Leaf wind now working again in shaders Added support for loading user shaders Attempt to improve LOD level flashing while regulating frame rate Re-enabled transparency AA setting Its kind of like when your girl friend has a big zit ! you know she's beautiful but until the zit goes away she's not all that nice to look at .. but it will go away eventually lol A final pass to the older tracks, as stated many times ,will happen ! in the mean time good to see the improvements ala Lime rock!
Ok, fixed the issue. I uninstalled rF2 and reinstalled a fresh 125. Now everything is ok with trees. I think it's always better to do a fresh install rather than an update. Edit: everything WAS ok, and suddenly the problem reappears.
I have this transparency issue too on ISI tracks I tried although new Lime Rock is fine. Posted this already before seeing this thread so may as well report in the appropriate place. I am running 310.64 nvidia drivers (Far cry release) using GTX680 in SLI if that helps. Is there actually people who don't have this issue and if so what drivers are you using?
Yep, I've tried it with AA on 8, 6 and 4 and the transparancy is obvious, however on setting 2 things are OK for me.
