license seems like its above what isi goes for. though i suppose they could do an elkhart circuit. i think theres a pretty good mod version, released not all that long ago; i think if you search the board it was linked here.
I hope not, the track is too wide in many places. I think this is an rF1 conversion. There is an AC conversion out there too and it has the exact same problems.
You need Road America v1.011sm simracingteam.de probably have a link. http://www.simracingteam.de/include.php?path=news&contentid=195 Its very nice looking, drives well, has all the rF2 bells and whistles, but just like the AC version its converted from need for speed shift unbleached or whatever its called, so has a tonne of inaccuracies.
After working on the textures for the original Simbin version, I could'nt resist having a delve into this RF2 version of this great road circuit - it's been a long time since I've seen this! Some brand new textures .... View attachment 18687 View attachment 18688 Cheers
Ah, sorry, I did'nt realise. I've been moving things along, texturing wise since then on this fine circuit. View attachment 18815
I love this track from the old Papy ICR days. It's still great to drive. Fleshing things out some more ..... View attachment 18843
Thanks - the version is the SCES scratch build for RF2. To quote: Originally started by Dennis Grebe, best known for his Virtua_LM track development of Le Mans, Fuji, Nazareth, and Topeka tracks for rFactor 2, the project was taken over by SimHQ Motorsports track developer Alex Coutie when it became apparent that development and release of this mod could not be worked on to a satisfactory level whilst still maintaining development of other projects ongoing with the tracks inital creator. I thought it could do with a touch of texture make up, so went to work on it somewhat. David
Will you release it or is it your personal use project? Also Topeka is one of the best early tracks we had in rF2 and I would LOVE to see it updated to show it's inner beauty to everyone.
