Porsche will never ever be in this Game. And i hate them for that. I would love to see a modern porsche in this game. For me it would be: track: Targa Florio car: Audi S1
Why would there be no Porsche JJStrack? Obviously not from ISI but I'm 100% sure some smaller mod team won't be afraid to make it. Enduracers are too known sadly for Porsche to notice but there are others. track: nords car: cant choose. Just cant.
My choice would be a purpose-built modern, highly detailed version of the Nordschleife and the car Sauber C11.
Yes, Spa is the most brilliant track so my choice would be definietly that. And maybe Audi R8 LMS Ultra, or any other GT3 car from Blancpain Endu. series.
I thought this thread is about ISI-made content. But yeah, some modders surely will release a porsche. I have already driven the 911 GT3 RSR in the GEARS mod in RF2.
jip JJStrack, I was referring to ISI-made content, even so, why not Porsche again? All I know is they seem quite stingy with their license, but it's been done before all official and legal ala NFS Porsche Unleashed (still my favorite of the NFS franchise) ...
Because EA Games or whoever does those Need for Speed titles holds the exclusive License for Porsche. Thats why even Gran Turismo has to be Lucky to get some kind of Porsche with the RUF cars. And when Gran Turismo can't get a Porsche License, do you really think ISI could make it?? So my statement still stands: you will never get a modern, official ISI Porsche. Even though the Porsche CUP would be perfect for rFactor2. But somehow the marketing department at Zuffenhausen doesn't think so...
No Porsches? I think projectCARS is planning on getting RUF or what about Rauh Welt Begriff? MY one car? Rally. I don't care what class(es), just... rally. Maybe historic like the Rallye Köln-Ahrweiler? One track? WP 7 Südschleife.
RUF is *not* a Porsche. It may look almost exactly the same, but it is considered an actual manufacturer. Any company including ISI can license RUFs.
I,d like to see 2 cars, Audi 90 GTO and Porsche ( yes Porsche ) 917-30 Track Modern Sandown, not the converted one from RF1, but a scratch made current one.
Radical or Ultima. Frankly I find it suprising that any driving sim comes without Nords. Any new fast car proves itself there so why isn't it included? How can any other circuit be more relevant? And all RUF use a porsche chassis... so in effect it's a porsche. Modified suspension and powertrain but still a porsche.
That's cool although porkers have never really done it for me. I would have thought Radical and Ultima (being small)would allow their cars to be licensed as a form of advertising, probably for free. I bought an Impreza many years ago because I just had to have one after driving a virtual one in Rally 2000. So it definately works as an advertising and selling tool. I wonder if when software houses apply for a license do they come in playing hardball telling the car manufacturer, give us this for free, you get free advertising to the precise demographic you want to advertise to.
