Hello, friends! The game doesn't define my steering wheel. I tried to choose a profile (my steering wheel is on the list), but it doesn't work. There are no other steering wheels in the Thrustmaster profile, only this. Reinstalling the game doesn't help, the steering wheel has been updated to the latest version. I don't know what else to do...
It would be good if you could let us know how you fixed it, other people might benefit. Just a bit of info. The controller profiles aren't a "must use" or, the wheel isn't detected doesn't mean the wheel won't work. If you wanted to, you could plug the controller in and start mapping buttons and axis straight away without thinking about a profile. The one thing you must do is Save your profile and give it a unique name. Once saved I like to load the profile, just a habit from old rF1 days.
Wrote on the phone yesterday, so I tried to write briefly. I went to the location of the game, chose the properties rf2.exe and indicated compatibility with Windows 8 (I have Windows 10) and everything worked.
