Our technology has increased about 50x in the last 500 years, so what will gaming be like 500 years from now? I envision laying down in some small room, putting a device on your head that completely takes over your entire consciousness and literally puts your mind inside the body of the game character while your real body was just laying there. (Did I see that in a movie?) Of course you would still be in your body, just in a state similar to dreaming. Imagine SIM RACING!! You could have a completely accurate driving experience, G-force and everything, actually BE inside the car, without the risk of injury or financial loss. Wouldn't that be wild? It could even go beyond gaming. With that kind of technology and enough money, I could buy whatever life I wanted to live, right? Fun (and scary) to think about. What if it has already happened? What if... O.O
