The titel "DNF series" does not mean that this series is a demolition derby. It is a very serious racing series where a combination of difficult tracks and cars will test the driving skills of our members. It is a popular series going in it's third season. The Howston Dissenter is a free official Studio 397 car. The guest of honour for season 3 is the Howston Dissenter 1974, a stock car made by Studio 397, also know as the Howston Dissenter 300. In season 2 we drove the F1 Mclaren M23 from 1975, which was aided by front and rear wings and the car had relatively a lot of grip. In season 3 we go back to the core of racing with a 1974 stock car. There are no aids on this car. No Traction control, no boost, no spoilers. All you have is an engine, steering wheel and pedals and 4 tires. It all comes down to mechanical grip and how you handle it. There is only 1 determinating factor with this car that makes all the difference: The Driver! And it's a beast. At Monza 10K, I clocked 300 km/h while slipstreaming a car in front at the end of the main straight. Tracks: 1. Brianza 1966 2. Buenos Aires Historic 3. San Francisco 4. Belgium GP 1966 5. Algarve 6.
