The lists of cars and tracks only links to either the Item Shop or to the Steamworkshop. I know that introducing a description to each item would be extremely time consuming, BUT I believe that, if each icon allowed two choices, either the Shop/Workshop as it currently offers OR a link to the original page within the archived content of S397's site where that content was "announced/presented", that shortcoming would be tackled and people would have access to much needed information on those items.
A good idea, I'll let Paul know, he probably has already written info on everything for the press releases.
