    Hello.
I'm a casual player, I mostly use iRacing and I want to try rfactor2 online

I have doubts about the configuration of the aids to use for running, since without any aid (traction control, ABS, mainly) I tend to go outside very often, the driving experience is very different to iRacing.

What is commonly used in online categories, such as tatuus or sr3?

In most competitive leagues/servers only autoclutch is allowed. Cars that have ABS/TC in the car setup can still use those (and are designed around having some level of those systems active), but otherwise ABS is your left foot and TC is your right. Just try to build into it slowly, changing sims can take a little time to adapt so trying to drive very fast immediately can lead to crashes.
