As many people have explained, Substance Painter is a good workflow for texturing.

I am doing my best to try and learn the program and get passed the somewhat steep learning curve to start with.

Are there any useful (video) tutorials to follow to get objects to look very similar from Substance to rF2?

I need to make buying a Substance sub worth the price tag.

    Thanks in advance.

we'll probably address things like this soonish. Can't put a date on it right now.
That said basic export should not be anything complicated. Although you probably need to export to TGA or similar and then resave in Photoshop to DDS right now.
