    Hi fellow sim'ers,

I know I am a little behind but I have recently switched to the Steam version of rF2. I am getting a weird effect on the force feedback where it flops in toward the corner if that makes sense. It is almost as if the force feedback is backwards, when it is mean to to be pushing the wheel away from the direction of turn it is actually pulling the wheel towards it.

My setup is a Leo Bodnar SimSteering system and this worked perfectly on the non steam version. Any ideas? The one thing I haven't tried is loading my custom profile from the non steam version. Could this help? Seems strange as the non steam version did not have this effect before I created a custom profile.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Rob

    Jup, its indeed reversed then.
    Go to your steam/rfactor folder UserData/Player. Theres a controller.JSON
Open with notepad. Go down to "Force Feedback":{ more deeper: "Steering effects strength":10000,
Change it to -10000 (or better said the opposite of whats there) Save. Done.

This is what you need to do exactly!! You should use the same controller profile for same result as you had on non steam build!
