Image by Giorgio Hi all, Sim Racers 4 Life would like to invite any interested ISI Forum readers to Rnd 4 of our Fun Event Season. The season has been set up to give non members an insight in the our great community. Round 3 at Lienz was a huge success we expect this one to be the same so please feel free to come along and join the fun. For more information please visit our website www.simracers4life.com Hope to see you this Sunday. Kind regards, Bryan Ferguson Race Director@SR4L
I was going to use the Nissan. But it's way faster than Lolas and Corvettes and it'd make a very lonely 30 minute races (happened with the Clio in Lienz). I think I'll go for the Corvette, as checking hotlaps it's lapping very similar laptimes to Lolas and there'll be plenty of them to battle with.
OK... I've got to know... How are you getting the auto welcome message to work upon joining your server. I've been pulling my hair out trying to find a solution for this for our server. Nothing has worked thus far.
you dont need an account to race today, all you need is password "simracers4life" btw, you do have an account in sr4l, I suppose you forgot it.
I tried logging in, registering, using the lost password function and everything just returned as database error.
Great nights racing, great skill shown by all drivers. Big thanks to all non members who turned up. Hope to see you in our forums. And of course well done to all members, Top Class..
I ended up retiring both races, having problem with the G27, wheel centering going to the left and therefore very uncomfortable to drive.
Unbelievably fun this track with Lola and also racing with different classes. Keeps you on your toes! Thanks for hosting and hope this combo comes up again as I will be sure to join! What's on the menu for next time?
Thanks for hosting this event, I had a great time. I race as ~IsR~ Jason, in case you were wondering which driver I was. I thought the multi class was good and worked well. Most of all, it was great to have a mandatory pitstop. Really upped the immersion levels, especially pitting while other cars did likewise and seeing the various comings and goings in the pit lane, and also seeing where you'd emerge after pitting. Its the first online pit stop I've done and it was enjoyable watching the clock tick as tyres were changed thinking 'C'mon. C'MON!!' I thought the grid was to be reversed for second race? Not that I mind, of course. Most of all though I enjoyed the behaviour of the other drivers both in chat and in the race. Excellent respect levels, blue flag adherence and recognising that the race is 30 minutes long and therefore patience would be well employed. Brilliant fun, and anyone not sure whether to join in due to ability levels or any other fears should be assured that you'll be ok and welcome in a server such as this. Thanks again everyone.
Thanks guys, I thought it best not to reverse order any multi class events. The F2 League races we do reverse the last race of the evening and is a little more serious with drivers and teams fighting for end of season awards. I was really please with how the night ran and again shows the standard of this community SR4L and how it caters for all skill levels.
