Now that animated pitcrew are at the back of ISI's priority list, would it be possible at least to add a sound effect of tyres being drilled in and out when doing the pit stop. Just a little thing that adds to the realism of the game. Something small which can be done so easily. Check minute 1:35 of this video to see what I mean:
What about when the Gen 6 cars come out that use 4 lugs vs one lug that most other series use? Can spotter plugins be mod specific?
Assuming such a sound effect wouldn't play regardless of whether you're changing tyres or not. We already have the message centre telling us what's happening during a pit stop. The big advantage a pit crew would offer would be getting rid of the red arrow. There seems to be a consensus around here that the not-very-visible arrow doesn't really cut it.
