Indeed, strut was the wrong word and confusing. Control Arm may have been more appropriate for the lower. The lower Control Arm(s) will have the most profound control of Anti-Roll. Upper Control geometry is designed to control the arc motion after identifying the lower Control Arm(s) range needs. Should have just left it as Roll Center, Instant Center and Virtual Swing Axle Length can transfer vertical forces into horizontal forces and left it at that.
Thinking around this a bit more, in addition to @John R Denman's points could it be that the dampers (pushrods in rF2 speak) are not configured to allow adequate travel, particularly in droop?
