    Can you please recommend good and reasonably priced racing shoes? I looked up online and ebay, they are all expensive.

    Proper racing shoes tend to be expensive because of FIA homologation (flame retardant).
    Possibile option is a pair of karting shoes (maybe half the price...).
    I have a pair of Sparco k-Mid karting shoes.
    My opinion is that any sneaker with a thin sole will do.
