    Hey
In the old RF1 days I made roadlines as a alternativ diffuse roadmaterial with the strtbokses og lines in them.
I can see ex. on Lock Drummond that the white stribes is made as separate GMT files with the shape of the lines, and in sectors for different parts of the track.
Anyone have a smart way to do these tiny GMT´s?

    Thanks for any advice

In 3ds max, select the edges from the race surface and create a shape, then sweep a small cross section shape to create the base object. if you use real world uvw option you can use a uvw xform modifier to adjust the uvw to match your template. you may need to re-conform them to terrain, there's a few ways to do that, such as mario's tools or there are conform to mesh mcg modifiers too.

I took some time to get it working, but it did :)

    Thanks a lot.
