Hi folks. I'm new to RF, but I have looked around for this problem, nothing I've found makes much sense.

I start out in the pits, pull away, get on to the track and everything starts to slow down, not frame rate, I'm getting a lovely silky smooth 60+ frames a second but the game is running incredibly slowly. I haven't tried it because it would bore me to tears, but reckon a lap of Laguna wold be over 6 minutes.

I have a beast of a machine, chip running at less than 5%, over 16 memory free, gpu 2080ti hardly doing anything etc. I saw one post that said this could be my fanatec wheel having a different axxis limit setting in and out of game but that made no sense to me at all.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Have you turned off the pit lane speed limiter?
You may have to assign that in controls. rF2 ALWAYS engages the limiter when you first start out. This seems to confuse users from other sims. It is a question we get, a-lot.
