So I've got my mas file to update, its a skin pack with teams etc.

So I've been trying to package it as a rfcmp file to update the mod using MAS2.exe.

I've selected create single cmp package, then it asks me for a component. Tried a few options here but didn't work.

What do I need to select as the component name - is that a totally new name or is it the same name as the component im trying to update?

Tried a new name and the same name. Didn't work.

I selected the componenet i'm trying to update in the next section, selected vehicle and update from. In the update from I put the version number that the component is showing in mod manager. I then incremented the version by .1. Won't package.

Really stuck, appreciate any help or pointers!

When you use the name that is given in the mft file of the Base-Mod (folder: ..\Installed....) and check the "update from" box in the comp-creator, enter the base-mods version number (number of the folder) and give your comp a new number in the "Version:" field, it should work.

I've done that - I keep getting not installed and a red box beside it.

Thanks for your help by the way

Did you hit "Package" when done?
    And "Install" then?

Oh, I see! Thanks, that worked, I wasn't using the name thats in the manifest. Changed that and the v number as you suggested and it works.

    Thanks so much!
