I run a league and I raced on my server last night. I've had no issues with rF2 in a while. Tonight, I tried to check out some Workshop content I had installed, but the track, Indianapolis 2020 wouldn't finish loading. I had a partial garage screen and " Event loading " at the top left. When I hit the X to leave, I got the confirm if I wanted to exit prompt, but clicking Yes didn't let me leave. I tried another track in Single mode and got the same results. No errors ever displayed. I removed the Indy track and re-subscribed and it downloaded again. Same issue.

Is there a common fix for this? Some file that got corrupted?

    Update:
I just tried connecting to my server. Not track map loading. Just a grey screen. So, it's not just Single Player. Something in the installed folder or Locations folder is messed up?

Sounds like a UI issue, so not either of those folders (they're content).

Is there a best practice way to "repair" the UI?

Verify the integrity of the files from Steam

Steam found 3 files it needed to replace, then...my NOD32 Anti-virus stopped the download. I had to suspend it from scanning. Makes me wonder if an ESET update was the cause. The link above makes me wonder.

Steam found three files it needed to replace. My ESET antivirus was stopping the download. I suspended it until it was done. I also excluded the Steam folder from real time scanning. rF2 is back up and working. I may re-enable to scan of the Steam folders to prove it was the anti-virus. I'll post what I find out.
