    Hi all,
As the title says i am unable to get the display going in RF2.
I placed the .DLL files in the folder as instructed in the manual. Also tried various other folders ...

    Quote from manual.
3.6. INSTALLATION PROCEDURE FOR RFACTOR 2 To support rFactor 2, you need to copy the file “display_controller_plugin_rf2.dll” to the bin64/plugins folder of the rFactor installation directory, and then restart the simulator.

In all other sims e.g. AC/ACC, AMS2 etc the display is working fine.
I dont see the plugin appearing in the menus.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

O i contacted Simulaje but no response.. :-(

Isn't that dll for the 32 bits exe?
Don't you have to copy the display_controller_plugin_rf2_x64.dll?

    Correct.
I placed the x64 version in the bin64/ plugins folder.
    Sadly it makes no difference...

I don't have the dll installed, because i use VR.
I'll install it tonight and i'll take a look.
IIRC i use the v1.4 of the GSMega.
I'll check it with the 1.4 and the 1,5rc3

    Great!
I recently went from VR back to a monitor, would be nice to have the display working.

    Hi @Dizzy
I've sent a msg to a friend of mine, who knows well the software of the F1S and he has told me the steps top make it working.
    • Copy the x64 plugin to the bin64\plugins folder (you've already done this)
    • Start rF2 and check that the plugin is recognized and activated.
    • If it doesn't, install the Microsoft c++ 2010 x64 redist
    • Start rF2 and check that the plugin is recognized and activated, again.
    • You need to have the GSMega software running to activate the display
    Good luck

    Yeah it works now:)

The C++ 2010 did the trick!

Cheers to you and your friend. Super happy with it.
