The new tool will accept, calculate and display both individual and cumulative driver results by stage. Similar to rally, hillclimb and other time trial disciplines, events involve both individual effort and interactive competition as drivers battle for overall position from stage to stage. There will be two event formats. First-Attempt event stages involve making a single attempt at achieving the fastest time possible over a single lap or run from a standing start. Qualify event stages consist of a 30-minute qualifying session where the best lap time is used for the stage result.
