Thanks for the race. It was a hairy warmup as I did a 160 lap race on Sat on the gp circuit in an understeering LMP2 car. (Excuses, excuses). I apologise to the driver in the Ferrari that I tapped on his quali lap. I misjudged his intentions, thinking he meant to let me through. Then failed to judge his brake point for Swedish cross. Finally managed a q lqp for p4. Pace up front was very fast. Start was comical for me. I focussed so much on getting revs and clutch spot on I forgot to engage 1st so drooped to p5. Somehow got some passes in the gp track and was magically in p2. However once in p2 i got hit from behind and rejoining in p12. Race 2 I managed to enter the Nordschliefe still in p1 despite being hit again by the same driver on the gp circuit. This time I managed to stay in front and decided to reward that guy by beung a pain in the backside and driving defensively for the lap. I managed to end lap 1 still in front but outbraked myself at t1 letting 2 cars through. In p3 at the entrance to the descent to the adnau forest i was tapped and spun again. The tyres were overheated and the car was handling badly from the spin and eyes still sore from my 5hrs on Sat so i called it a night. I really enjoyed the challenge of mixing it with such fast guys. It was fun, but it wasnt so clean really. When a slow guy hits you its one thing, when you get hit 3 times by the fastest guys it can start to feel like an attitude issue. Still thanks for it all. It was nice to see and race with so many fans of the ring.
