Welcome to our first ever Formula E series! With this we aim to break up the constant Formula 1 schedule for AOR, and trial some different ideas when it comes to non-F1 series.

The rulebook will be found once the signup thread is open. It will cover FE-specific scenarios such as weekend structure, penalties and pitlane rules.

    Mod Information:
    • Gen2 Formula E car specification
    • 250kW in maximum power mode. Changeable power AND regen/braking modes available.
    • Completely electric engine that uses completely weightless charge, not liquid fuel
    • Durable road tyres that will last the whole race
    • Open setups that may be changed before qualifying. A Parc ferme setup lock occurs when the qualifying lap is finished.
    • Real Formula E teams and drivers
    General Information:

What day and time do events start?
    Day/Times - GMT/BST (UK TIME):
    • Saturday
    • Qualifying Group 1: 6.30PM

What are the entry requirements? Nothing! If you can post a laptime within 104.5% of the leader in practice before qualifying, you are guaranteed entry to the grid. This is not a hard cap however, and if coordinators believe you are competent enough to enter the race, your entry will be allowed. As for teams, you are NOT required to find a teammate.

What assists are allowed? Auto-clutch is the only assist allowed.

How many spaces are available? We are capping the league to 20 drivers at any race. If we get more than 20 sign-ups, drivers after that will be counted as reserves. You may also sign up voluntarily as a reserve.

Can I participate in a 'one off' race? Only if you sign up as a reserve and there is an open spot going in a race.

    Race night structure:
    • Qualifying group 1 goes out at 6:30PM UK time. (One flying lap)
    • Qualifying group 2 goes out once the previous group is finished. (One flying lap)
    • Qualifying group 3 goes out once the previous group is finished. (One flying lap)
    • Qualifying group 4 goes out once the previous group is finished. (One flying lap)
    • Superpole (top 5 drivers from the group sessions) begins at 6:50. 5th place sets one lap, followed by 4th, etc. This session decides the grid order of the top 5 drivers.
    • Warmup begins at approximately 6:55-7PM UK time, The grid will be confirmed by a coordinator during this session.
    • The race begins at approximately 7:10-7:15PM UK Time.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The qualifying groups are decided on championship order. You are disadvantaged for being higher in the championship by getting a less rubbered track and an earlier group. This helps drivers who are lower down in the championship get better results. For the first race, this order will be completely random.

Are setups permitted? The Championship is open to setup modification.

What is the points system? The points system will be the same as formula one in real life with 25 points for a win, 18 for second etc. Pole position will be worth 1 point, as will the fastest lap (as long as the achieving driver finishes inside the Top 8)
