Hello, I'm running rfactor 2 on a vps server. i installed the game and i started the server and entered in the normal server. it happens that when I try to change the session, practice for Qualy or Qualy for race is the fps rate drops sharply and the server closes. Can anyone help?
Monitor your CPU load and RAM usage in windows task manager on the server machine. Put some AI on the server and advance to next sessions. While changing sessions the 400fps of the server dropping is normal: You'll see the CPU load increasing. If the CPU load is maxed out, it just takes a bit longer to advance to the next session. But CPU load and the fps of the server will return to normal after everything is loaded. RAM usages increases when you go from practice to qualy and from qualy to warm/race session. If you run out of RAM usage the server "crashes".
This server is locate in aws amazon and server settings are reasonable. Intel Xeon E5-2680 v2 (Ivy Bridge) Windows server 2008 r2 Memory 15 gb Storage SSD 2 x 60 I auditioned with 27 (AI) and the problem continues. 400 fps to 1 fps and crashes.
