You don't appear to have the 'get mod' feature setup so no-one (well I can't) can get your vmod.

Check one of my posts from the last ten days - it shows you the ports you need to open for all parts of the sim to work. You need to open ports in and out for rfactor and vmod too.

What's in your vmod, did you make sure the boxes were unchecked on the stuff you selected in making the vmod because it seems a bit large for just a vmod? Still downloading atm, vmod size 12MB so far!

15MB and progress bar is barely 1/3 done.
    26MB and about 1/2 done.

i thought all i had checked was the vettes main file but i am totaly clueless on creating a vmod was pretty much guessing first time ive even opened creator tool..i think it said it was like 58mb so i must have screwed up when creating my vmod if thats un normally large

On the last screen just before you hit 'Package' it shows you the components you've selected. If you check the square box next to the components then they get included in your 'vmod' and served up when someone uses the 'get mod' feature in the lobby. A proper vmod doesn't have any content of its own and is less than 1MB.

Yes you can use a vmod you've previously downloaded, should be ok as long as it doesn't reference any difficult to get cars/tracks which will restrict the # of people who are likely to join.
