all i see is everyone using aids like traction control and anti locking bakes online, these are clearly an advantage over people with everything off. is there any severs that force all aides off?
ill take that as a no then. q2 can you set an online race up ie in a league which forces all aides off? sureley this is possible
Q2: Yes, we run rf1 that way, only auto clutch to accommodate the paddle drivers and drivers that don't have a clutch. Some of the older but still good wheels are that way. rF2 has the same options. I couldn't imagine driving any other way. To me, all other aids and anything other than forced cockpit view can just go in the bin. Not a sim anymore if you use those. Goes for pad drivers too. I wish there was a way to force a wheel.
Hi there I currently use a xbox360 pad and drive with all aids off,except for auto clutch,i also race in full cockpit view with no problems at all,i also find that i can drive aswell as anybody using a wheel,not better but aswell. Sorry to the op if this is a little of topic,but i just needed to voice my opinion about folk that use gamepads,were not all bad drivers!
All communities I know online almost all have the aids off, except for auto shift and auto clutch. Auto clutch because not everyone has 3 pedals. Auto shift because not everyone is able to use the manual shift option. All other aids are mostly off. We, at racedepartment.com, have all our servers set up that way. So, if you want to drive in a race where everything is off, join a community Then you are sure that settings are the same for all the races.
We also forcing all to not use any aids, including autoclutch. We want all to use blips and lifts instead of using clutch. Also we force cockpit view. I'm sure it would match also other skills as argument to enable all helps
I never said they were bad drivers, it's just that they are playing a video game where as wheel drivers are driving a sim. proper.
