The league I'm in has a non steam install of the rF2 dedicated server, and it is not showing for me (steam install) in the lobby or in the steam server list, AND a server that is definitely not running is showing up (see screen of non running server below). Anyone have an idea what may be going on? Edit: Should have mentioned that the server dropped off the radar so to speak about a week ago...it does drop off from time to time but usually resurfaces within a couple of hours. Cheers G
Problem looks like it was a port issue, one server was setup with it's IP very close to another, so with steam requiring an additional two ports, this caused a problem...sorted the problem by moving the servers to Steam and re-allocating ports...no disappearances so far (touch wood). The issue with the non running server showing in the steam lobby was caused by the dedicated server not closing properly ie the console closed but the exe was still running in the processes tab.
