I think I just had a wrong IP typed in the port fowarding boxes. I put IPv4 address there and after that it worked.
Yeah some routers will allow you to leave the local connection unchecked when joining your own server. I'm using the cable companies router now and I have to check it where I didn't have to check it with my old netgear router.
