SOLVED "server connection failed"

    Another solution:
    Destroy rFactor2 ports (of course) who are in the firewall and then hoster part, the firewall will then ask you validated the opening of the port ...
    And in principle more worries

    Edit: At least I can join it (no need to tick "local connection")

    I think I just had a wrong IP typed in the port fowarding boxes.

    I put IPv4 address there and after that it worked.

    Yeah some routers will allow you to leave the local connection unchecked when joining your own server. I'm using the cable companies router now and I have to check it where I didn't have to check it with my old netgear router.
