I have done many sessions from one hour but still the S397- Mercedes AMG GT3 AI stands always last in the standings. Ive done it on Sebring and Tremblin Mountain. The AI of the Mercedes looks always searching for the good raceline and goes several times of the track. Am i missing a update? For me its in my steam library so it must be updated automatic. Its the Mercedes AMG GT3 from the GT3 pack of S397.
The AMG GT3 has always felt different from the rest of the GT3 fleet. Some folks have claimed it's the best ffb in the sim while others state it's totally crap, especially when compared to how the rest of the cars feel. I think there is something different about the Merc, that is why we almost all agree it's ffb is different. But what causes that 'feel' to us humans may also be contributing to it's poor AI behavior. Having said that, at this time, it has become clear to us that AI issues are not a priority AT THIS TIME. At some point S397 may try to address a myriad of AI issues, but they certainly will not anytime soon. The GT3 pack has been out almost two years now? Comments similar to yours surfaced immediately and haven't been addressed in that time.
