The guys did a hot-swap and re-join testing last night, WORKS. This is exciting news as we try to move our club to RF2 full time. All I ask is new builds to be thoroughly pre-tested before release would be nice or a warning "try at your own risk" that way a full time RF2 club will always wait before updating. A passing thought, do check out the Phanton Vision 2, a great toy and big funfactor, I've crashed twice, not fun Some days are just better than the last.
I'm guessing the Hot Swap is Driver Swaps and the rejoins is where a player drops from the server for whatever reason (poor net at clients end can be one these) and I'd say the driver returns in their own car (if it's available) in the pit lane.
Radar is right, I'm very sry for not being clear, we do "hotswap" (driver change through a race) a lot in RF1 and rejoin if you lose connection in The Race as opposed to just in practice. The rejoin feature is the biggy here as we know and you can't in RF1 at all, this really is huge when doing three hour races etc and being able to come back into the race after a disconnect.
