[REL] rFactor2 Weather Tool

I'm not running the weather server 24/7 so that is not an issue, that wasn't my question either. Also I would have preferred to use the rFactor2WorldWeather.exe application but no matter if its overcast + rain, light cloud + rain or any rain except storm its always 20% intesity which is useless for me.

Hello, I am using RealTime plugin but it isn't changing the track temperature, it is frozen to 29ºC. I have read that it is because rFactor 2 hasn't finished this feature (epic fail because rFactor 1 has it) but as it was written in 2014 I don't know if it has been fixed and someone could help me to fix this.

Another question I have is if there is a possibility to choose different days in the Static_HMI app for the sessions. I remember an aplication called RFEWAS for rFactor that allowed me to do it. In Static_HMI, when I change the day of the session, it changes the day of all sessions.
I would like to have different days depending of the session, for example: Friday 17 March for Practice 1, Saturday 18 March for Practice 3 + Qualifying and Sunday 19 March for Race. That would allow me to have a real meteo for Formula 1 races in my league.

I have lots of problems with the integrated lite http server. It very often stops working, giving standard timeout error. Then the only solution is to manually stop&start Webserver from the GUI. It happens few times a day. Do you have such problems, too?

How often do you recall weather updates?

 

About 180 s. But weather server in game works OK all the time. It's only that lite http server that displays radar and weather info on www.

I have succeeded in getting the Weather tool running on a Dedi server but cannot find out how to run weather from an earlier period.
In this case, the weather condition of China 2016. ( 1300 - 1700 Sun 17 Apr 2016 Shanghai time (0900-1300 CET)
Any help will be appreciated, thanks

Tried the static weather app but get an XML error
Copied rFactor2WorldWeather.exe, WeatherConfig.xml, Newtonsoft.Json.dll into rFactor2 folder.
UPDATE: downloaded new XML file and it opens, thanks for the help !

 

Now finally have Static rFactor2 Weather Tool functioning on a Dedicated Server but it keeps giving a Warning when I want to save the data :

Please launch at least one time this circuit in rFactor 2 to create the original file.
No .wet file in:
./UserData/player/Settings/China

I tried copying and replacing the only datafile (autosave.rrbin) in the Client to this folder but still have this message.
Any ideas anyone ?
How do I generate a .wet file and will it ask for more files ?

 

run at the track with scripted weather and it will generate a *.wet file.

I am hoping the AI can sort out their pit strategies in changing weather because they are easily beaten when pitting everytime a drop of rain hits the track
