Rfactor2 Running - Steam not shutting down

Steam wont close and RF2 wont "stop running"

Examining the processes it seems it all shuts down (rfactor2.exe) but maybe there is a dll hook or something forcing it run? I use reshade/sweed fx but i also have tried with them removed and it still just list itself as "running" and i have to task manager and kill the bootstrap process and relaunch steam to launch any steam applications.

 

Its very annoying to have to restart steam every time i want to close rfactor2.

 

After lots of experimenting it seems that the logitech profiler causes the game to hang in steam. Weird.
