This Trans AM Mod from Storm Gang Simulation doesn't promise too much!

"Storm Gang Simulation is proud to present for rFactor2: Trans Am TA2. Developed from the ground up with input from Howe Racing Enterprises, Katech Engines and drivers like 2021 TA2 Rookie of the Year, Rhett Barkau, Mike Skeen, Guy Cosmo, Dylan Archer, Tyler Kicera and more. Their incredible feedback has helped make this the most realistic TA2 mod ever!

Featuring 3 unique bodies and paint schemes from the 2022 season and beyond: the Dodge Challenger, Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro. Each car has been modelled with exquisite detail by the incredibly talented Brian van Beusekom and features the curves and cuts of the real body panels, right down to the frames and underparts. Each model features customisable mirrors and engine choices. While the 3 brands can run their own homologated engines, there is also the Choice engine designed specifically for Trans Am's TA2. The LS9-based engine block has proven reliable for entire seasons without needing an overhaul, making it incredibly cost effective and highly desirable.

The rider only has the option of changing the brake bias on board. Apart from slight differences in aerodynamics and engine options, there is very little that sets these drivers apart. These race cars are impulse race cars and need to be pushed to their limits. 4 on the floor and go!

Chevy Camaro:
Based on the 2022 model, this car runs the LS3-based powerplant for its standard run. An overall good engine and a good car to handle, offering the best of both worlds for performance and control.

Ford Mustang:
The Ford Mustang is based on the 2022 model and features a Ford Rousch engine at the front for good responsiveness and a confident ride.

Dodge Challenger:
Mopar's famous Hemi is almost a memory now, maintained by a minority of select engine rebuilders. The Challenger retains the most consistent look, referencing its roots in the 70s. This icon has received only minor cosmetic updates. Expect high top speed as an advantage when driving this classic.
The Choice engine:
The Choice engine, which has been developed and constantly improved over several years since 2017, is approved in all 3 vehicles. Developed and tested by several drivers and manufacturer partners, the Choice engine is a vital and cost-effective component to the huge success of the TA2 class, which swells to over 50 cars during the season."

I was sceptical at first, but curious because of the great promises in the original text for this mod.
But this mod keeps its promises.

These cars are insane, from the feedback, the physics, absolutely comprehensible.
And the wonderful V8 sound....
