I just wanted to go for a spin but got the following message from the launcher. When I looked in the folder it is indeed not there. I played rFactor 2 this morning without any problems and turned off my PC after exiting rF2. I did not mess with the folders or anything. How can I get rFactor 2 working again?
Verify the integrity of your game files. In the Steam Library, right-click rFactor 2 and select Properties. Then press the bottom button below: And if it disappears again, check what your antivirus is doing.
I have an strange issue today,after turn on the pc after sleep mod,i no longer was able to launche devmod,first error was about the json file,delete it to create a new one,after that,always back to desktop whit no errors,solution:delete userdata folder and let rf2 create a new one,not before make a backup from the old one.
Probably at least one of your JSON files was there but empty. It happens occasionally, and the game will drop straight back to the launcher without error.
