Am I the only on e that cant run the installer for a new install? Tim - I know you have visited this thread. Did I not phrase my comment in a nasty enough way to get your attention?
If you're doing fresh installs note that default settings have been changing. Check your settings. Silverstone is also more intensive. Sent from a mobile device using Tapatalk
Well this post goes a good way towards getting you a reputation, keep it up. Could be I just missed it? Naaaa, better that I ignored you... Sheesh. Usually when a program says that, you don't have the complete file. Check the size of the file compared to what size we said it should be. Sent from a mobile device using Tapatalk
I after installing the total build 240 and the installation of new content, I have the black screen after clicking on local game or multiplayer! solved with the reinstallation.
Literally only tested Silverstone for a few minutes so far with b240 but I`m still getting the blacked out spinner when I first go there... Alt+Tab fixes it as it did with the previous build but it`s still present with b240...
Hmmm, decided to give night racing a shot. I noticed my headlights brightness is pretty poor and they don't illuminate the road on ISI Tracks (tried Silverstone nd Mills) but work fine on say Croft and Posnan. Anyone else?
Does alt-tab still do it, so it's the same issue for sure? Have you tried getting the showrooms again, by maybe installing lite over, or did you do that to update?
Something might be wrong with that build for me (maybe it`s my machine). Autoupdate went ok, but now same settings as before - doublechecked - Silverstone undriveable 4-14 FPS. Thought might be the track. Then started LRP and again same settings: at grid 8 cars visible I had about 45-50 FPS now only half 26FPS and look at my counters and bars at the top right: View attachment 8415
Yes, Alt+Tab does fix it Tim so yes, it`s the same issue I (and others) experienced with the last build. I updated with the updater to test if it worked which it did. I then uninstalled the last build and installed b240. Btw, I left you a visitor message.
I thought I had read that that was fixed... But I don't see it in the release notes... Maybe it didn't make it in time.
