I have had some multiplayer problems since build 118 with cars flashing some times and hovering on the track pretty often. Today I decided to go online without rFactor Launcher (I was pinging a server in command line) and suddenly everything looked good. While I had launcher running, my ping would be like 9 in a row 23-24, then something like 130, 25, 150, 25, 140 and then continue normally. With rF launcher off my ping was pretty much all the time 23-24 with some lags very randomly that might have been caused by other things. I have to say that I'm on wlan which might be part cause of this lag, but still online works much better with rfactor launcher shut down.
